I bought this rack because the quality looked good, the design was simple but cheerful, and the base appeared wide enough to make the whole thing unlikely to tip over. I was not disappointed. This is a great rack, and while I can't promise that it won't tip if loaded with winter coats, it works great for dress-up clothes. We have a two- and four-year-old and there are pegs each of them can reach. It keeps all the kids' costumes out where they are more likely to play with them, but still orderly. I wish it were cheaper, but I just didn't believe the cheaper ones would do the job. I am very pleased with this purchase.
