I had saved up to get a real wood wardrobe. I was disapointed. My husband had put it together before I got home or it would have been returned. The wood was warped on the top and a side piece and my husband fudged the fit, but it is not an even line. The most disapointing part was the packing. The wood was dented in several places. The outerbox was not dented, so I do not know if the damage was the fault of the shipping or the packing or a combination of both. My husband also complained about the directions and mentioned that if he hadn't been experienced he never would have gotten it together. I planned on buying a second wardrobe, but am hesitating to take the gamble. I love the look and the color. The doors slide nicely. This would be an excellent wardrobe if the issues of warping and packing were addressed.

been buying from amazon for probably ten years plus, everything TV, furniture, toys, clothing, you name it, and to date have rarely put a foot wrong. this is the exception. on first inspection out of the package, one panel split - ok, no big deal i will ask for a replacment, though not particularly impressed with the 'wood' finish. inverted commas there because somewhat sceptical of the poorly finished wood panels anyway, actually looks like some sort of painted white-wood, not the mahogany i remember from my 'youth' in carpentry classes, but who knows. on further inspection, laying everything out i notice another large (side) panel split plus various indents from what appears to be a bump or 'taping'... anyway, cut a long story short - it's going back! i will tread more cautiously next time and think twice about this type of purchase, especially since i believe i will end up picking up the shipment costs, which i'm sure will will run in excess of $100...correction, $168 plus UPS pickup charge to send back. i dont think it would even make particularly good firewood though that would be a far more satisfying end

I purchased this wardrobe on line and was a bit nervouse waiting for it to arrive. All reviews on this closet were so good that I had second thoughts about the one I was to receive. It arrived and all was good. It went together easily and looks great. This wardrobe really helps when your closets are few.
