I like to set out my clothing for a coming event or next day, but do not want to waste a needed chair for the purpose. This wardrobe valet is a nice luxury, meeting that requirement at reasonable cost and is attractive. If you think the price high, check here and elsewhere for similar ones. This is as inexpensive as you will find for a valet that is not unsightly. The valet needs a couple of small hooks on the side for belts, ties keys and the like, but I installed a couple of ornamental brass hooks from the hardware store. This only took a minute and added helpful functionality.Apparent wobbly shelf problem: The top shelf for change, wallet, keys, etc. fastens with two camlocks to two tall, vertical screws, a gimmicky method. The result is a wobbly shelf. To fix this apparent problem, you need to screw the two tall, vertical screws in as far you can. But be careful! Don't break the screws by overtightening! If you tighten these screws down snugly, the wobble problem is solved.
